Albert Lea, Minnesota is located at the crossroads of Interstate 90 and Interstate 35 in southern Minnesota, about 90 miles south of the Twin Cities.
Albert Lea has a very agreeable climate with warm summers and chilly winters with an average snowfall of 41.5 inches per year.

There are also so more than 250 miles of trails in the county which are ideal for snowmobiles and trekking. The city also has two ice arenas for skating, hockey and various other events.
